Nothing to do? Go fish.
Have your afternoon tea, lakeside. Have a long chat with a special friend. Hear the wind blow. Lie on the grass. Have your all-day siesta. Feel the beauty of your favorite music. Breathe in, breathe out. Meditate. Tai chi in the sunset.
At night, sit on the rocks laid out in groups. And then stare in amazement as the rising moon’s reflection becomes a pillar of light that breaks into a million shards across the lake. Gaze at the great constellations on a clear night: Orion, Cassiopeia, the Giant Bear, Pegasus, Aries, Taurus and Gemini.
When you are done, tuck yourself in and doze off to the rhythm of the waves. Feel quite fulfilled at having accomplished the objective of doing almost nothing.
P.S.
You can also do something, too, if you like.
You can have a team-building session on the rolling lawn. Or have a planning workshop al fresco. Or even a meeting with clients, since the only thing that will distract you is the sound of fishing boats in the distance, or the beautiful view all around you.
Fresh air. No traffic blues. Nothing toxic around you.
For the romantics, there is always the gazebo for a commitment ceremony, or even a wedding. Surrounded by good friends, the stars and nature, you could believe that the world could be perfect.
